Senior Helpers of Phoenixville is hiring immediately for experienced non-medical Traveling Caregivers. The Traveling Caregiver will see 2 to 4 clients in a day. Must have a Valid Driver’s Licenses, current Auto Insurance, and a Reliable Vehicle. Must be comfortable working with Male and Female clientele. Must be ok with Cats, Dogs and Smoke. Willing to take clients out in own personal vehicle for errands, appointments, outings, and procedures. The Traveling Caregiver Position is $15 - $ 17 per hour plus $15 daily gas stipend.

Requirements

· Valid Driver’s License, Reliable Vehicle, and Auto Insurance

· 1 year of hands-on Caregiving experience

· Able to pass Criminal Background Check

· 2 Step PPD, Quantiforum TB Golf Blood Test or a Chest X-Ray

· Social Security Card

· Must be able to work with Male and Female clients

· Comfortable with Cats and Dogs

· Comfortable with clients that smoke

· Able to take clients out in personal vehicle for errands, appointments, outings and procedures when required.

Job Duties

Job Duties are subject to change based on client’s personalized care plans but are not limited to:

· Companionship and Conversation

· Personal Care – Showering, Dressing, Grooming, Oral Care, Hair Care, Toileting, Incontinence Care.

· Light Housekeeping, Laundry, Linen, Mopping, Sweeping, Vacuuming.

· Meal Preparation, Feeding assistance.

· Medication Reminders

· Safety and Fall Precautions

· Transportation or Escort – Errands, Shopping, Outings, Events, Family Gatherings, Doctor Appointments, Procedures.
