Our caregivers have been the heart of our business since 1994. We are looking for caregivers that will take pride in providing quality care for our clients, as well as finding enrichment in developing in-depth relationships. This position allows for a full scope of interaction with the client in their home including assistance with their activities of daily living, maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment, and keeping them engaged with the outside world. Our technology platforms will help you do both. Continue to grow your skill set as a caregiver by learning new things on our on-line Homewatch CareGivers University.
Homewatch Caregivers of Boulder County is looking for a couple of great caregivers that can work part-time or fulltime. Flexible shifts allow you to work around school or other personal responsibilities. Available Hours: 3-5 hour shifts and long 12 hours shifts weekday and weekend in Boulder County. • Be pleasant and supportive companion
• Help clients with transfers or standby assist
• Assist clients with personal care, incontinence care and hygiene
• Dementia/Alzheimer's Care
• Report any incidents and changes in the health or status of the client
• During incidents act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements

• A key part of this position is helping our clients stay connected with the outside world by taking them to appointments, social outings, or helping them run errands.
• VEHICLE -Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Must be caring and have professional verbal and nonverbal communication skills
• PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED: Experience as a caregiver in-home care setting or skilled facility
• Must pass background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, TB screening
