Car Wash Specialist Job at UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago
DESCRIPTION
To carry out the auto detailing function within UCP Seguin’s Auto Marketplace which was created as a small, entrepreneurial business venture to create community integrated job opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities and other low income individuals living in the community, in a manner which will also benefits the economic development of our community and creates additional revenue sources for the enhancement of the services UCP Seguin provides to its consumers.
Develop and maintain an auto detailing service within UCP Seguin’s existing Auto Marketplace, in a manner that promotes the community integrated employment opportunities for Agency consumers, ensures sales goals are met and associated sales costs are managed to ensure the continued profitability of the enterprise and compliance with Agency and legal requirements governing the business and vocational services to persons with developmental disabilities.
Provide instructional coaching, support and knowledge base to co-workers and clients in auto detailing processes and procedures to assist them in the acquisition of requisite job skills and knowledge.
Also act as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) when interacting with persons served as follows:
Provide support & comfort to people with developmental and other disabilities, assisting them to lead self-directed lives, achieve their personal goals and contribute to their community; and encourage attitudes and behaviors that enhance inclusion in their communities.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED required; Valid Illinois driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.75 - $17.00 per hour
