Carwash Site Manager

The Mega Wash Site manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the car wash. The Site Manager ensure that everything runs efficiently and effectively, including staffing, equipment, maintenance, and customer service. The candidate is expected to work side-by-side with the staff to deliver a stellar customer service experience by keeping quality and consistency at the forefront. The Site Manager must understand all facets of the carwash and must constantly be leading, coaching, and training the employees.

Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day operations of the car wash.

· Proper opening and/or closing of the car wash.

· Knowledge and ability to perform all positions at car wash, including but not limited to maintenance and cleaning of equipment and facility preservation.

· Coaching and working with employees. Training employees on proper techniques for washing vehicles to have a consistent quality wash.

· Training employees on proper techniques for maintenance and cleaning of equipment and facility to promote safety.

· Training employees on operations of all equipment in order to identify possible problems.

· Properly delegating work to employees.

· Supervising employees to ensure that they are performing their jobs safely, efficiently, and to Mega Wash standards. Ensure that all employees abide to all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

· Maintaining clean facility and ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly on a daily basis. Reporting any issues to General Manager immediately.

· Training new employees on company standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.

· Training employees on POS system to ensure job efficiency.

· Train employees etiquette on how to direct customer service issues to management.

· Provide thorough training to all shift supervisors to ensure that Mega Wash standards and policies are being followed.

· Follow and perform general maintenance schedules and do minor repairs as needed.

· Create and post schedules for all employees.

· Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to ensure the carwash is operating at peak efficiency and continues to carry out a competitive advantage.

· Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

· Willing and able to work a variety of hours in a variety of conditions. Site Managers typically work long hours, including weekends and holidays to make certain that the carwash is running smoothly and ensuring customer satisfaction.

· We are open up to 365 days per year. Hours of operation are 7 AM to 8 PM Monday through Saturday and 8 AM to 6 PM Sunday.

· Must have working knowledge of all carwash operations equipment and maintain proper chemical usages.

· Must have organizational skills, be able to complete work in a timely manner, delegate work responsibly, and be sure the employees have the resources they need to complete their work.

· Must be willing and able to take part in marketing and sales efforts in order to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

· Be involved in advertising campaigns, special promotions, and other initiatives designed to increase revenue and profits.

· Be available for quarterly management meetings with General Manager and Upper Management to discuss industry and site trends, sales, P/L reports, and other related managerial responsibilities.

· Must use POS to prepare weekly and monthly sales report for General Manager.

· Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to motivate employees, delegate tasks, and make rational decisions.

· Monitor employee productivity and provide coaching and feedback to ensure quality standards are met. Must be able to inspire the employees to work together to achieve common goals.

· Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner with customers, employees, and Management.

· Must be able to resolve conflicts between employees, properly document, and direct to Human Resources.

· Must exhibit and constantly enhance customer service skills to answer questions, and resolve issues with customers, and be aware of when to direct to General Manager.

· Must maintain a safe and clean work, environment and comply with all company, safety policies and procedures.

· Submit supply orders to General Manager, as needed.

Education and/or Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Associate degree in business administration or related field preferred

· Experience in the role of Car Wash Manager required

· 3+ years of experience in the role of Car Wash Manager may be substituted for degree.

· 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
