Educational Justice is an Organization located in Louisville, KY that tackles educational inequity by pairing high achieving high school students with low-income 5th through 8th grade students with less access to educational support. Once paired, students meet virtually for a minimum of one hour each week with the same tutor for at least one school year for free mentorship and tutoring. Responsibilities expertise in utilization of the EJ Activists software identifying new features to be added overseeing the development and implementation of the new platform improving/updating the EJ website Create training on software Create training for students/coaches/staff Streamline onboarding process in coordination with other team members Skill Set Passionate about social justice and education initiatives; Innovative thinkers who thrive in a start-up environment; Self-motivated and takes initiative, working well independently and with a team; Exceptional written and oral communication skills; Proficiency using administrative software Attention to detail when implementing administrative tasks, data collecting, and day-to-day program implementation. Member Duties : The responsibilities of the product development coordinator will include *maintaining and troubleshooting the EJ Activists web application *producing training resources including instructional training materials to utilize new technology through video tutorials, manual and in-person training. *Creating an online help guide/FAQ for the new web based platform. *Developing a data aggregation tool for internal use and marketing. All of this in efforts to expand the reach of Educational Justice by developing and implementing a more optimal onboarding and user interface for the tutoring sessions.
