Little Dog Delivery Driver Job Description

(Delevery Drivers Mon-Sun)

Seeking Full and Part time as well as (mothers hours) drivers. For company owned delivery van. Hours of operation 9am-9pm 7 days per week. These positions require local travel within the state in a company vehicle. Couriers are responsible for safely, securely, and lawfully transporting cannabis to medical patients and adult use customers. Also required to enusre strict adherence to state laws governing delivery and manifest protocols and controls. We are committed to diversity as we are a social equity business.

Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)

  • The delivery courier is responsible for delivering products to patients safely
  • All work done in company vehicles and no personal vehicle required

Transports products to our patients’ homes quickly and accurately

  • Verifies medical marijuana patient/customer identity
  • Accepts payment for the product and obtains required signatures upon delivery
  • Follows proper inventory procedures, loads/unloads, and operates a vehicle safely
  • Must be able to work alongside a partner in a cooperative team environment to provide secure product delivery from dispensary to delivery sites
  • Assist with packaging deliveries and checking against the order form
  • Must ensure product is properly secured prior to delivery
  • Contacts delivery patient as needed
  • Accurately file and maintain manifests and cash transaction logs after each delivery
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product delivery
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
  • Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of Little Dog Delivery and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectives

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum

  • 25 years of age or older
  • Confident navigating by using maps and GPS
  • Pass a comprehensive background check that includes a criminal history
  • Prior or equivalent experience as a driver preferred but will consider all
  • Maintain a current driver’s license and good driving record
  • Steady employment history
  • Perform his/her duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry.
  • Carry out all procedures in an efficient manner that also complies with, OSHA regulations, Artis SOP’s,

and all applicable procedures.

  • Maintain a positive attitude

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform driving in a safe manner is all four seasons. Ability to sit for long periods of time and get in and out of an automobile several times a day. Ability to utilize arms at extended position for long periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift/carry product, totes and push/pull carts.

Pay

Starting at $17/hour plus tips

Benefits

Vacation: Vacation time 1st year

Personal/Sick Time : 1 week paid leave, no personal / sick time can be carried over.
