The Campus Recruiter serves as a critical recruiting leader for the internship program. This role is responsible for recruitment and selection efforts through building campus relationships, attending campus events, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, facilitating the selection process, and working with the internship leader team to meet recruiting activity measures and intern contract goals.

This position is based in Skokie, IL and serves offices in Lombard, West Loop, Vernon Hills, and Elgin. Must be willing to travel to all office locations and Chicago area college campuses.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop effective referral sources in the office and on Chicago area college campuses
• Develop campus relationships to promote the internship opportunity creating brand awareness and advocates of the internship program
• Actively participate in career fairs and other events hosted by college campuses
• Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies for the internship on campus and via online sources
• Review resumes, screen candidates, schedule and conduct initial interviews, guide candidates through the in-depth and final interview processes
• Administer selection process assessments and assignments
• Prepare selection process facilitators with candidate notes, resume, etc.
• Track recruiting activity results and maintain candidate database
• Partner with the internship leader team to grow the program

Qualifications and Competencies

• 1-2 years of professional work experience, preferably in sales, recruiting, or the financial services industry
• High organizational and time management skills
• Experience with generating leads via phone or face to face interactions
• Strong personal network and/or community involvement to leverage from a recruiting perspective
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels including executive leadership; builds rapport quickly
• Action oriented and has a drive for results; can be counted on to exceed goals successfully
