Job Description:

The successful candidate will report to the Factory Manager and be accountable for the daily overseeing of communication to factory execution, Tier meetings.

The most qualified candidate must have the ability to understand the workflow of the organization and add value by being able to prioritize factory Tier meetings, issue tracker and follow up. To communicate who has the action and escalate as required on behalf of the factory, factory planner, and support staff.

Vision Systems is seeking a Factory Production Support Specialist for their Goleta site. This position will perform a wide variety of planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow. Primary responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities include:

  • Communicates factory TAKT performance with a sense of urgency, attention to detail and precision.

  • Facilitate meetings; capture actions and maintain issue tracking action list to ensure follow up

  • Maintain Down Equipment List

  • Attend B3 weekly gate plan review

  • Member of the MSIS weekly review

  • Point of contract for HOT lot / tracking list requests

  • Reviews Factory aging WIP

  • Attends IPT meeting for factory representation and flow back any program feedback.

  • Performs a wide variety of planning, scheduling, coordinating, and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow.

  • Coordinates and monitors workflow in factory operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

  • Prepares reports and summaries. Replies to inquiries. Draws attention to important items and actual or potential problems

  • Attends IPT meetings and hosts the factory Tier meetings to ensure factory communication to programs, Production Control Material Control (PCMC), product management and factory management is aligned and consistent.

Required Skills:

  • 6 years of Logistical or related experience.

  • An understanding of the application and concepts of inventory management, logistics, factory tracking metrics or similar concepts.

  • Prior experience with inventory control management.

  • Motivated and takes on challenges to solve complex problems

  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and conditions

  • Positive attitude and proactive work approach

  • Experience working in production tracking tools.

  • Thorough working with Microsoft Office software.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working in Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES) production tracking tool

  • Effective time management skills

  • Ability to solve problems and be timely with completing assignments

  • Effective communicator (presentation skills, written and verbal communication)

  • Strong Administrative and organization skills is a plus

Required Education:

  • Requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience and a high school diploma.

  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.

ERIP Award Eligible:

  • Only employees currently with RMD and RIS have the potential to receive a Referral Award for submitting a referral to RMD and RIS roles. All eligibility requirements must be met to receive the Referral Awarding.

The salary range for this role is 46,000 USD - 110,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
