Orthopedic practice seeking friendly, outgoing induvial for full time Call Center Representative position. We are looking for someone who shares the same drive we do for patient satisfaction and who is happy to help our patients get the care they deserve. This position is located in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Description:
- Answers high-volume calls on a multi-line phone system; screens and directs calls, takes detailed messages and/or forwards telephone calls to appropriate departments.
- Schedules patient appointments.
- Inputs and verifies demographics and insurance in our system
- Verifies insurance eligibility
- Positive attitude
- Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to prepare and forwarding mail, scanning, photocopying, and faxing as required.
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues, comply with HIPPA rules and regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by physician, supervisor, or management.
Requirements:
- Healthcare experience.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Understanding of medical terminology and medical insurance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
