Accounts Receivable Customer Service Representative
Napa, CA
What you’ll do:
This position works with the A/R Supervisor and the Customer Service Team to ensure that all customers receive consistent, high-quality service established by the policies and procedures of the Customer Service Center. This position ensures that cash controls for Accounts Receivable (A/R) systems and controls for balancing of daily cash postings are consistently applied and reconciled in a timely fashion each month. Assisting with Collection and Bankruptcy Accounts and ensuring day-to-day accounting operations are completed in the Customer Service Center.
Top responsibilities:
Possess fundamental knowledge regarding all dimensions of residential, commercial, and industrial company services provided. Acquire knowledge of customer related databases.
Perform follow-up calls regarding customer inquiries, complaints and orders to assure follow-through, completion, and satisfaction.
Set-up and maintain accurate and timely customer profile records for all residential and commercial customer interactions.
Be primary contact for Collection, Bankruptcy, and Payment Plan accounts to respond and resolve customer inquiries, complaints and order requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
Review and process Credit, Debit and Refund requests from the Customer Service Center (CSC)
Review Bank deposit slips against daily cash sheets for accuracy from the CSC and entry data on to the Cash Receipts Journal.
Monthly review of Collections accounts and process electronic files to 3rd party agency
Monthly Reconciliation of Bank statements to the Cash Receipts Journals
