Cable Park Operator

Position Reports to: Cable System Manager

Job Purpose: Operate and maintain both Full Size Cable and Two Tower System.

Timeline: Applications will be taken through early April. Employment will begin in early May and run though September. This is a seasonal position. Employment is dependent on necessity and subject to termination at any time.

What is Imondi Wake Zone?
Imondi Wake Zone is the Rocky Mountain Region's Exclusive Watersports Cable Park located in Fruita, CO. We provide a fun, safe and exciting place for families to learn and progress their watersports abilities. We strive to promote a positive environment to motivate, inspire and challenge like-minded water sports enthusiasts. Cable Wakeboarding, Kneeboarding, Stand-Up Paddle boarding, floating Aqua Park, concessions and more! All ages and abilities are welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise guests and ensure they are following all park rules.
  • Operate cable systems and give participants instruction as needed.
  • Ensure cable system is functioning properly and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Assist with party set-up and clean-up.
  • Operate POS to check customers in and take payment.
  • Landscaping work, as needed.
  • Keep park areas clean.
  • Janitorial duties as assigned by manager.
  • Perform required daily maintenance to cable systems.
  • Assist in large scale cable maintenance and repairs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, jump, and move around for long periods of time.
  • Ability to watch participants and communicate well with customers.
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to focus for long periods of time.
  • Ability to climb 50+ feet, comfortable with heights above water.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or less.
  • Ability to spend long periods of time in the sun with little or no shade.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Must be 18 Years old or older
  • Experience in wakeboarding or watersports (Cable preferred)
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to understand and use various computer software
  • Understanding of iPad's or tablets
  • Certified in CPR, and First-Aid
  • Must be able to pass drug screening

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
