Cabana Wait Staff Job at Beau Chene Country Club
Position Summary:
The wait staff is the front line of customer service in the BCCC Pool Cabana. Wait staff greet, take food and beverage orders, serve food and beverages and do what is necessary to ensure a satisfying experience for all members and guests.
Essential Functions:
§ Takes customers’ orders.
§ Recommends certain dishes and identifies ingredients.
§ Serves food and beverages.
§ Prepares itemized checks.
§ Operates computerized Point of Sale terminal.
§ Keeps work areas clean and neat.
§ Clears and sets up tables.
§ Follows training guidelines for proper service in the Club/Pool environment.
§ Under certain conditions, wait staff may be required to serve alcohol.
§ All other as required.
Physical Requirements:
§ Continually walks throughout the work shift.
§ Must be able to lift and carry 25 - 30 pounds.
§ Requires bending, reaching, and twisting mobility.
Working Conditions:
§ Flexible and varied work schedule.
§ Position works mainly outdoors
Minimum Qualifications:
§ Must be able to read and write.
§ At least a moderate level of fluency in English.
§ Basic computer skills
