We are looking for that true “utility player” who loves to stay busy and learn multiple jobs! This is a fast paced, hospitality focused position. If you love interacting with people, this job is for you!

Compensation:

Job Requirements:

• MUST have at least 1 year of experience as busser, runner or expo
• Would like to grow and become a server in 1 year
• Can greet and seat customers accurately and efficiently
• Strong work ethic, self awareness, empathy, and positive attitude
• Has a good sense of urgency
• Ability to think quick on their feet and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Resourceful and organized with clean work habits & attention to detail
• Guest oriented with a high focus on delivering quality service
• Must be able to expedite orders.
• Handle pressure well along with the ability to set priorities and make decisions based on quality.

What you will do . .

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
• Monitor the open dining room sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables
• Estimate wait times for guests
• Monitor the guest waiting list
• Ensure that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting
• Serve food courses and answer menu and drink questions.
• Strong communication with the kitchen to minimize mistakes on orders, especially allergies/ dietary needs.
• Set up and clean tables to ensure a clean dining area.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking items, rolling silverware, clean bathrooms, etc.
• Keep uniform and personal appearance clean and professional.
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift
• Effective communication with all FOH staff
• Assist servers with table maintenance
• Maintain and clean self-service areas, side stations, floors, furniture, check bathrooms, checking trash cans to make sure they are not overflowing, etc.
• Keep visible public areas clutter-free.
• Remove, return to the storage area and clean condiments, maintenance and cleaning of side stations, floors, furniture, take trays to the dish pit, and throw away all paper and plastic ware.
• Wipe down tables and seats
