GENERAL FUNCTION
The Business Process Owner-Manufacturing oversees standardizing processes and measures the performance for which he and/or she oversees. He / She defines the necessary business requirements as well to get system enhanced per the business needs.
As primary objective, the Business Process Owner-Manufacturing will contribute to the NAM Electra Extended project working on delivering the To Be processes for Manufacturing for ELOA Laboratories and validating the Core Model business blueprint as the standard solution for our Lab network.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Define Standard process for Manufacturing delivering Policy, SOP, RACI and KPI.
  • Define the business requirements for systems enhancement and prioritize them according to business needs.
  • Provide an objective assessment and refine all aspects of the processes he and/or she oversees in alignment with direction given by the Global Process Owners (GPO) from Supply Chain Corporate department.
  • Coordinates cross functionally with other Operations and Supply chain teams to ensure alignment.
  • Organize and maintain the business roadmap.
  • Develop process implementation plans.
  • Coordinate the Business Process Governance with the right stakeholders.
  • Prepare and plan budgets to determine how to use company resources to launch new initiatives.
  • Standardize the logistic flow of jobs within the manufacturing workshops (launching & Gantt, work ticket, job tracking wide spectrum)
  • Work collaboratively with the Continuous improvement (CI) team to ensure processes are executed and improved.
  • Animate the local experts community (Key users, SMEs) to ensure the processes enrichment and the enhancements of the IT solution.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in optical manufacturing environment (production, industrial process, Continuous Improvement, IT MES …)
  • Ability to manage projects efficiently
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal
  • Strong statistical and problem-solving skills
  • Well organized and able to handle detailed work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and adaptability
  • Global knowledge of IT (System architecture, DB, BI...)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior proven experience in Lean Manufacturing w/o certification is a plus
  • Process management skills
  • Exposure to International
