Business Line Marketing Manager - Assurance Job at BDO

We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Manager with the skills to manage and execute go-to-market campaigns and programs to join our Assurance Marketing team. Your role will provide marketing support for key strategic specialty practice areas. Your primary focus will involve working with our Employee Benefit Plan Audit practice group. BDO is one of the largest providers of Benefit Plan Audits and a key thought leader in this market segment via our ERISA Center of Excellence.

Additionally, you will directly support BDO’s Third Party Attestation and Information Systems Assurance specialty practices. You will also collaborate with and support the marketing leader aligned to the Audit Professional Practice Group and the BDO Center for Corporate Governance. You will work directly with practice leaders, other marketers and outside agencies to develop content driven marketing plans, manage campaign processes, assess market opportunities, analyze metrics and contribute to marketing programs that drive results.

You’re a good fit for this role if you bring prior professional service firm marketing experience and are looking to build on your range of marketing skills, such as brand storytelling, digital marketing, as well as content development and execution in formats including articles, surveys, white papers, podcasts and webinars. You will work to develop compelling campaigns that engage our target audiences and produce measurable results. Experience in a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Marketo environment a plus. Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree and Five (5) or more years of marketing experience in professional services, required; OR High School Diploma/GED and Eight (8) or more years of marketing experience in professional services, required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or Business Administration, preferred

Experience:
  • Prior experience working in accounting, financial consulting, business advisory and/or professional services, preferred

Software:
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Marketo experience, preferred

  • Detail oriented and ability to effectively proofread all written materials including pitches, presentations, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of the development, management and execution of sales processes including lead generation, pipeline management, account planning, sales strategy, and development
