It launched in 2018 as part of a big travel group with the only focus of providing a very unique tool, a concierge platform for time-sharing, vacation rentals and other resorts-hotels companies with large lists of members. We are present in the most iconic islands of the caribbean: Curaçao, Aruba, Saint Marteen..etc and the most touristic cities in the US: Puerto Rico, Orlando, Las Vegas, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa are our first step in our USA territory expansion among other cities we have in the scope for the next 2 years. Including other countries, cities in Europe and Asia, like Dubai, Singapour or London.

About your role:

We are seeking for Business Developers experienced individuals who have a thorough understanding of the tourism&hospitality industry, have a flexible schedule and enjoy working independently. We are looking for a leader with a positive and proactive attitude with a culture of team work, professionalism and superior organization skills while maximizing efficiency and profit. The ideal candidate would be adaptable, smart, quick and a good listener. He/she will possess excellent time management skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly communicate with customers face to face. This person will be responsible for the overall operation of your location and you will be interacting with a variety of Vacationstore.net clients, including owners, General Managers or Managers, being the priority on attracting new clients to join our platform. We are penetrating in key cities in the US market and this role will be crucial to the success of the new locations.

This is not a 9 to 5 job. We expect to do whatever it takes to reach your goals. There may be evenings, holidays and weekends involved. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build Market awareness for a leading innovative brand in the software/tourism industry
  • Developing new long term relationships with companies in the area
  • Ongoing interaction and management with clients
  • Contact and setting up meeting with potential new clients
  • Responsible for taking part in local trade shows, events and memberships with key industry associations
  • Analyze customer data to ensure continued success of their business.
  • Understand economic trends and monitor competitor activity in order to stay abreast of new developments
  • This position will report directly to the US Business Development Manager, including sending weekly reports and keeping fluent communication.
  • Accurately forecast business activity
  • Proactively identify, analyze and correct operational problems
  • Monitor and maintain vendor´s accounts

Requirements:

  • The candidate must be live in Puerto Rico for at least the last 2 years
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in B2B sales
  • Experience with the Tourism&hospitality industry(A MUST)
  • Business development experience
  • You must have your own dependable transportation
  • Ability to understand IT software technology(Preferred)
  • Own a smart phone and a laptop
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products
  • Thorough understanding and use of social media
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism
  • Perform with little supervision
  • Ocasional travel in the US maybe required

Compensation range: from $36,000-$60,000. This include salary plus commissions, the income is not capped at $60,000, this depends on how much business you are able to bring in. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position. The Company reserves the right to modify the pay range at any time.
