Hybrid role / Annual bonus


At BASF 3D Printing Solutions, we offer a broad portfolio of fully formulated products that are ready to use in 3D printing hardware.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing individual like you with entrepreneurial drive and the ability to communication effectively to join our team as a Business Development Manager. In this role, you will focus on 3D printing extrusion machine manufacturers, with the objective of integrating our Ultrafuse® filaments into their hardware to generate opportunities that result in reoccuring revenue. Your role in our team will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our Ultrafuse® product line, as it establishes the foundation of our end-to-end 3D printing solutions for our valued customers.


As a Business Development Manager, you create chemistry by…

  • Developing and executing a robust growth strategy to achieve quantifiable commercial successes, updated annually.

  • Fostering relationship with stakeholders at existing partners and identifying and engaging with new partners to drive the integration of Ultrafuse® filament.

  • Using your creativity to establish winning business models, go to market strategies, and promotional packages that accelerate the revenue growth of the Ultrafuse® product portfolio.

  • Negotiating and finalizing partnership agreements, while ensuring the partnerships are aligned with our strategic goals

  • Networking to identify emerging trends and competitor activities.

  • Using Salesforce.com to manage and track sales pipeline, including forecasting.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent


Your formula for success…

  • Technical or Business degree with 5+ years in business development or strategic sales

  • Highly motivated and collaborative with a passion for technology

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand technical products

  • A critical thinker with problem solving skills

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc). Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Agile methodologies a plus.
