Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Dealer Business Specialist for Application Support who will be responsible for providing information technology support for our strategic business units. The successful candidate will have proven experience in application support and troubleshooting technical and business process-related issues. The candidate should be able to identify recurring or repetitive issues and drive issues to resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze and apply information technology and business practices to support strategic business process/plans.
• Participate in designing, developing, testing and integrating technology of low complexity.
• Implement information technology and business processes of low complexity.
• Evaluate and continuously improve information technology and business processes to maintain alignment with business plans of low complexity/risk.
• Perform activities according to project plans and schedule.
• Have contact primarily focused around department and functional operations, and limited interaction with business contacts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of technical knowledge related to computer technology, application development, database administration, data management, and/or infrastructure.
• 1+ years of experience working in a service desk or customer call center environment with a strong focus on exceptional customer service / customer experience.
• 1+ years of proven experience troubleshooting technical and business process-related issues, with the ability to identify recurring or repetitive issues and drive issues to resolution.
• Experience with retail business processes, such as, parts and inventory management, product service or repair, sales, rental, and/or accounting practices.
• Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Proven experience working in a team environment with minimal supervision; team-oriented.
• Eager to develop their talents and skills, as well as helping others build their knowledge and skills.

Additional Experience:

• Experience working within a dealership
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment
• Experience leveraging ITIL, LSM, and/or DevOps principles and methodology.
• Experience working with Microsoft technology stack, specifically MS Dynamics 365
• Understanding of various security frameworks and fundamentals, including Active Directory, MFA, etc.
• Proven understanding of .NET and/or JAVA programming fundamentals
• Proven understanding of SQL database fundamentals
• Proven understanding of API development fundamentals

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• East Moline, IL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
