The Business Analyst’s primary focus is to effectively connect technology with manufacturing business strategies and priorities, empowering cross functional collaboration to deliver high impact results. The right candidate will leverage their strong business analysis and relationship skills to take an immersed position within customer-focused landscapes and gain comprehensive understanding of the critical path business objectives. Armed with this understanding, they will help define and document viable technology solutions and secure alignment on solution priorities with key stakeholders… ensuring rapid solution delivery, adoption, and maximum return on investment.


Highlights of your role

  • Immerse in current business processes through interactions with SMEs, suppliers, and customers, documenting current state, problems, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Elicit, compile, document, and manage clear and acceptable requirements by being an active leader, using a variety of elicitation methods such as interviewing, workshops, business process and workflow review
  • Analyze, translate, and communicate business requirements, through detailed flow charts, diagrams, prototypes, use cases, and user storiesDefine ROI and business impact while collaborating on recommendations with developers, stakeholders, and business leaders.
  • Within a given project or effort, be fluid between project management and business analyst roles depending on the tasks or needs at hand.
  • Develop project plans and/or tools to track project efforts and drive activity completion.
  • Manage, communicate, and facilitate project standup and update meetings.
  • Accountable for communications (written and verbal) within the project team, stakeholders, and sponsors. Provide leadership and stakeholders with project updates, milestones and objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere (e.g. ask questions and encourage input from others) with business partners and colleagues, building trusted relationships.
  • Participate in testing, defect review, solutioning and preparation for implementation.
  • Facilitate training and user support during and after implementation.
  • Provide limited ongoing second-tier support for customer-facing business systems

You're a good fit if you have

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and solution architecture skills required, including how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application, data, and operational requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to professionally interact with and influence a diverse group of managers and subject matter experts.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills along with relationship building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and manage small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.
  • Must be self-motivated, have strong desire to learn, and be adaptable to a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • High degree of professionalism and a project management experience/style that promotes progress through teamwork in a collaborative environment, using best practice methodologies like agile or waterfall.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Exceptional business acumen
  • Highly accurate, conscientious, thorough, detail-oriented and organized
  • Deep listening, creative, problem solving, and process-oriented skills
  • Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft 365; ERP experience a plus.
  • Comprehensive Business Analysis tools and methods

Education / Experience

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 or more years’ experience in computer technology applications and analysis, including project management
  • Experience with all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Strong analytical or process-oriented background and experience is preferred
