We operate exclusively in Texas’ major markets: Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston and San Antonio.

Weitzman has an opening in its Austin office for a Broker Services Assistant to support a team of commercial real estate sales professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • General administrative support to a group of sales professionals, including written correspondence, letters of intent, contracts, and lease documents.
  • Organize, prepare and produce customized, client-specific property information packages in response to Requests for Information, Requests for Proposals, and Property Availability.
  • Collect and submit information for research and marketing requests (demographic reports, maps/aerials, site plans, etc.).
  • Screen and direct incoming telephone calls. Respond to general inquiries and provide information as needed.
  • Review marketing material specifications and act as a point of contact and liaison with centralized marketing, analysis, and research groups to coordinate the completion and submission of financial, marketing, and various client specific property data to incorporate into customized property information packages.
  • Collect, assemble and organize research on various companies and properties.
  • Organize and maintain filing system, file correspondence, and other records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous commercial real estate experience or prior experience in a sales support position is a plus.
  • Strong administrative skills, organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Basic math – such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions.
  • Strong proofreading skills, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong general computer skills | Intermediate skills in MS Suite and Internet research.
  • Excellent team player, interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personalities while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Client-focused, with excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable and able to work overtime as needed (very limited).
