Jo’s is a modern American diner created to complement the Mission Hills community. We are a casual neighborhood restaurant serving diner-inspired meals. We have a great local following and attract guests from all around the country since our appearance on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins & Dives”.
Jo’s Diner is now hiring experienced breakfast cooks. You must have a strong work ethic and be professional, friendly, and have the utmost respect for your guests and fellow staff members.

Line Cook Responsibilities:
- Properly execute all recipes, prep procedures, and maintain standards with all menu items and plate presentations as set forth by the restaurant
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at work station to ensure a smooth service period
- Handle, store, and rotate all food products to maintain freshness
- Knowledge of proper operation of kitchen equipment
Job Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk and move around during entire shift
- Ability to handle, carry and/or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, holidays and weekends
