Box Truck Oil Delivery /Class B CDL with “X” Endorsement

Palmdale Oil Company is one of the largest family-owned petroleum wholesale company in the State of Florida. We sell diesel, gasoline, marine fuels, and oils/lubricant. We have an immediate day shift opening for a Box Truck Driver in Orlando. You must have a Class B CDL and X Endorsement (Tanker & HazMat.) We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in driving and a desire to work for a fast-paced, corporate organization. In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves" attitude.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The responsibilities of the Class B CDL Route Driver position include:
• Operates a box truck as directed, transporting between the facility and multiple destinations. Typical routes are within a 100-mile radius of the home terminal and include generally between 7 to 12 deliveries per day.
• Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of fuels/oils to ensure timely service.
• Makes deliveries of oils and lubricants in accordance with customer needs and company policies.
• Maintains telephone contact with home terminal/dispatch center to receive delivery instructions or notices of changes in route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintains a log of travel in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company needs.
• Responsible for daily inspection of vehicle (pre-post trip), ensuring proper function of all safety related features of the vehicle at all times, including refueling as needed.

Job Requirements

The required skills for the Class B CDL Route Driver are:

· Class B CDL with Haz-Mat “X” Endorsement

· Minimum 3 years verifiable commercial driving experience

· Must be licensed to operate the assigned vehicle

· Able to Lift 100 pounds

· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

· Able to work 6:00AM – 6:00PM and available for overtime as required to meet business needs within the appropriate State/Federal regulations, plus rotating Saturdays as needed

· Travel in the surrounding regions

· Exceptional Customer Service Skills

· Positive and Professional Demeanor

· Outstanding Safety Record

· Must have a clean driving record with no serious violations

· Must be able to meet all DOT/Federal and State Requirements for the operation of commercial motor vehicles

· Must maintain a clean presentation of the driver and vehicle
