Position Summary:

Under direction of the Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager, the Bottle Feeder will follow all established procedures and policies, while producing a product that meets or exceeds available standards while prioritizing safety, quality and efficiency to meet the goals of the company.

Shift: 4 AM - 12 PM, Monday-Friday

Rate: $18.86/HR

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to work independently in a fast paced team production environment.
  • Safe operation of semi automatic bottle debagging and automatic bagging equipment.
  • Able to load and unload trailers as needed in a timely manner and monitor the quality of the bundles loaded on these trailers.
  • Ability to perform routine housekeeping tasks during the allotted shift time.
  • Watch all bottle producing equipment and conveyor system and be able to clear jams in a safe manner while performing above tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

General:

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

  • Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision.
  • Available for required overtime to support business needs and/or critical situations.
  • Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
  • Perform assigned duties following "Good Manufacturing Practices.”
  • Actively participate in special teams representing the warehouse department.
  • Maintain a clean & safe work environment.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Reading & writing proficiency (English language) and ability to identify colors.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Multi-tasked Individual.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 60lbs. repetitively but not for entire shift.
  • Walk, bend, lift, twist, reach, lean over, pull, push, stoop and stand on concrete floor on a regular basis and for long periods of time.
  • Tolerate wet, hot, steamy work environment and loud noise

Support SQF by:

  • Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner
  • Maintaining the master list of documents
  • Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
