Our client is a materials specialist and a global leader providing solutions for their customers in the electrical and electronics industries. Their Macon, GA subsidiary supplies thermal adhesive solutions for use in electrical and electronics industries. Their parent company is headquartered in South Korea and has seventy-five years of experience manufacturing paint products, adhesives, and other solutions.
About The Opportunity
Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper for their new location in Macon, GA. The position duties include:
- Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
- Maintaining subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions
- Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts
- Maintaining a balanced general ledger
- Preparing a trial balance for the accountants
- Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounting for information
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements
- Monitoring for variances from the projected budget
- Advising management on compliance needs
- Assisting in financial activities such as running payroll and generating invoices
Requirements:
- Candidate must speak fluent Korean
- Ability to understand basic English
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline preferred
- Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
