What does a Body Work Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?

Our corporate Remanufacturing Center is looking for a Body Work Technician to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for equipment body work and preparing vending equipment for paint and graphic application.

Training Provided: We invest in our employees and provide unique hands-on training over six months, demonstrating basic collision repair skills and various techniques to ensure “like new” equipment quality production standards are met.

Work Environment: You’ll experience this training in our recently expanded 70,000 sq. ft facility outfitted with a high-powered vacuum system and air filtration dust collection equipment to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

We’ll also provide you with:
  • All Personal Protective Equipment
  • All required tools
  • Uniforms
Responsibilities include:
  • General bodywork, sanding, masking, and decal application.
  • Interacts with managers, supervisors and coworkers maintaining a good and professional working relationship.
  • Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience as a vehicle body repair technician preferred but we do provide extensive training to help get you up to speed.
  • Working knowledge of repairing damaged metal body parts
  • Experience with Manufacturing, Body Work, Sanding, Light metal work is preferred
  • Ability to work safely using all provided personal protective equipment
  • Ability to operate and/or use all types of hand and power tools
  • Ability to work safely while using ladders and step stools
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
  • Ability to stand, stoop, and twist repetitively
