Description:
The Huffines Body Shop Estimator helps ensure the overall efficiency, profitability, and reputation of our auto body shop operations by providing timely, accurate, and customer-approved estimates for repair work.
Body Shop Estimator
Responsibilities
:
- Documents estimates and the necessary repair work according to established industry standards and insurance company regulations
- Oversees delivery of repairs and manages customer’s expectations
- Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
- Follows all shop policies and procedures as well as safety standards and environmental regulations
- Helps maintain shop appearance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Body Shop Estimator Requirements:
- Three+ years of directly related experience in a large facility or dealership
- Fluent English speaking and written communication skills (bilingual in Spanish preferred)
- Commitment to delivering world-class customer service
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a team player
- Professional dress, speech, behavior, and appearance
- Proficiency in computer skills
