Summary:

Goldbelt Apex, LLC is seeking a Biomedical Maintenance Lead Install/Train (I/T).
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
  • Responsible for the daily operations of the Bio-Medical Maintenance Section.
  • Directs a team of technicians in prioritizing and completing schedule and non-schedule services on a variety of army medical equipment.
  • Provides training to staff on the use of army medical equipment to include PMCS, operation, deployment, and recovery.
  • Completes medical equipment services and to ensure material is operational for training and patient use.
  • Coordinates evacuation of equipment and material for turn-in, lateral transfer, service, and calibration.
  • Gets quotes from a variety of commercial and military vendors for repair parts and submits them through military systems for purchase.
  • Manages and maintains a biomedical maintenance shop in an organized and professional manner
Qualifications:
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
  • Mastery level knowledge in MS Office suite of applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience leading a team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Applied Science with a concentration in bio-medical equipment maintenance or equivalent or have 5 years of experience in bio-medical equipment maintenance within the past 10 years
  • Must have three years recent experience as a repairer of medical equipment.
  • Must have successfully completed the Biomedical Equipment Repair (U.S. Army MOS 68A) course or equivalent training.
  • Must have at least one-year supervisory experience in a biomedical maintenance operation.
  • Must be proficient with common Microsoft Windows operating systems and possess a working knowledge of current automated medical maintenance systems used by the Army.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Forklift certified or certified within 180 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.


The salary range for this position is $47.70/hr to $49.69/hr
