In this position, the Billing Liaison will directly support customer relations, ordering, billing, and collection for PRS (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) customers by acting as advocate for BD, Surgery Leadership, and the PRS customers (e.g. hospitals). They will be communicating at least weekly with the PRS customers to help identify issues and enable timely resolution. The liaison will provide reporting and facilitate written and/or oral communication and presentations with the customer and Surgery Leadership; including setting up and leading meetings and timely intensifying issues.

This opportunity is Hybrid (~3 days/week in office) to the San Antonio, TX location!

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with PRS customers to resolve account issues related to invoices, billing, credits, credits holds etc.
  • Facilitates account payments for customers and provides follow up/confirmation
  • Researches outstanding/legacy debt and works directly with PRS customers to establish and track satisfactory work plan to reduce/eliminate open AR
  • Identify, and facilitate the resolution of, disputed receivables.
  • Represents AR in Smarter Commerce launch and assist customers with portal integration
  • Supports customer inquiries (3-way call with PRS business representatives and/or OHM)
  • Champions all PRS customer financial issues
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of customer contracts and how they impact the collections process
  • Proactively monitor and reconcile customer accounts
  • Provide exceptional customer support, responding to account queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer account documentation
  • Proactively escalate to internal support partners and Sr Management as appropriate
  • Identify, and communicate process improvement opportunities to Manager as appropriate
  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Min 2+ years experience with customer interaction such as direct B2B (business to business and/or project management required
  • Shown exceptional, communication skills (written and oral)
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and goal oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities
  • Contract Analysis required
  • Knowledge of collection techniques (i.e. skip tracing) required
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. creating and maintaining reports) and solid understanding of Microsoft Office required
  • High School Degree required; Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related degree is highly preferred
  • Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, adapting to changes in workload and environment, and leading without authority
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
  • Experience working in a shared service center preferred
