Work hours: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm. This is a part-time position.
The Part-time Bilingual Benefit Administrator will work on-site in a plant environment to provide administrative support in the area of employee benefit communication and benefit enrollment.
Duties:
  • Support employees face-to-face with benefits enrollment including life events. Consistent daily interaction with employees to assist to resolve issues.
  • Assist with the employee's medical bills. Must be comfortable learning the medical to investigate billing questions.
  • Assist in New Hire Orientations, printing ID cards printing, and specific client project requests.
  • Scrub applications and submit paperwork to carriers and follow up with employees on missing documents and incomplete applications. Work closely with plant employees to walk them through the benefits process with patience and professionalism.
  • Process pending reports by navigating various systems every day (CRM, Payroll System - AS400) and process approvals in the benefits enrollment system.
  • Provide general phone support; accept incoming requests and follow through with results
  • Process paperwork and timely weekly filing. Audit data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the LOA process and employees returning to work from STD/LTD, Worker's Comp, etc.
  • The successful candidate must be willing to learn, apply and consistently execute all the responsibilities of the position with minimal day-to-day supervision.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, advanced education preferred.
  • Demonstration administrative assistant experience; Former benefit insurance administration experience a plus
  • Ability to professionally communicate with our clients, insurance carriers, and individual plant employees.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to adjust to each new situation with a positive and can-do attitude. Calm and professional demeanor.
  • Bilingual verbal skills (Spanish and English fluency)
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines while remaining professional and composed.
  • Demonstrated experience in learning new data management systems to maintain employee files.
