As part of our Service Department, the PrairieFire Bench Technician has a major impact on our customers and the relationship we maintain with them. The right person will be a mechanically inclined, safety-conscious individual with basic understanding in the principles of equipment repair to effectively maintain, repair and re-program assorted coffee and tea equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair of beverage (coffee and tea) equipment
  • Preventive maintenance of brewing machines and other equipment
  • Internal and external Customer Service
  • Conduct self in a positive and cooperative manner, and communicate in an open and positive way with both customers and coworkers
  • Maintaining a clean and organized service area
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Coffee machine repair and refurbishment experience preferred
  • Refrigeration certification required
  • Mechanical/technical skills; plumbing, electrical, and HVAC experience highly desired
  • 1-2 years' experience as a field service technician or machine maintenance/repair technician
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently
  • Team player with exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screenings such as a Drug Screen
  • Must be able to lift/ push/ pull 75 lbs. unassisted on a repetitive basis
