We are hiring Behavioral Health Technician- MULTIPLE AVAILABLE SCHEDULES In Throop, PA
$5,000 stay BONUS for full time employees!
  • Bonus is for full time employees and paid out according to training schedule.
  • $1000 after 3 months
  • $2000 after 6 months
  • $2000 after 12 months
Pay: $16.00/hr
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic behavioral interventions to clients in accordance with treatment plan in the client’s home, the community, and/or school setting.
  • Adhere to client schedule and deliver appropriate authorized units of service prescribed as directed by supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the treatment team.
  • Report the effectiveness of treatment protocols and treatment difficulties to supervisor and clinician.
  • Document treatment data/results on progress notes that are clinically appropriate and timely.
  • Complete Assessment and Assistance in accordance with Department of Human Services guidelines.
  • Record all cancellations/changes in scheduled session on IBHS Service Delay form.
  • Complete miscellaneous paperwork as directed by management.
  • Utilize safe crisis management techniques as deemed appropriate.
  • Perform all job responsibilities in a safe manner and adhere to safety practices and standards established by the company.
  • Adhere to the Exposure Control Plan and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the task being performed.
  • Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with company policy and HIPAA Privacy Rule regulations.
Position Requirements:
Required Education/Experience:
Education:
  • Have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA
OR
  • Certification as a Board-Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT)
OR
  • Behavior health certification or behavior analysis certification OR Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services.
Experience:
  • Previous work experience must be on a paid, full-time basis working with children, youth and young adults
Required Licenses/Certifications
  • Valid driver’s license
Additional Work Skills (professional)
  • Must have knowledge of behavior modification techniques, and common behavioral disorders exhibited by children and adolescents.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with child/adolescent, parent/guardian, treatment team members, and other personnel involved in child/adolescent s treatment.
  • Must possess the ability to perform non-violent crisis intervention techniques, including verbal redirection and guidance of potentially physically aggressive child/adolescent /students during crisis situations.
  • Must possess the ability to react quickly and be sufficiently mobile to redirect child/adolescent that could be injurious to themselves or others.
  • Must display a professional appearance and demeanor.
Essential Physical and Sensory Requirements- With or without the aid of mechanical devices
Light:
  • Regularly required to lift 10 lbs.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs.
  • Must be able to pull minimum of 10 lbs.
  • Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
  • Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Required to regularly stand and walk.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
