Job Summary:

The Comprehensive School and Community Treatment (CSCT) program is designed to provide in school support for children with a serious emotional disturbance. The CSCT team consists of a therapist and behavioral specialists that offer individual and group therapy sessions, family therapy and supports, in class support, and advocacy for students in the program. The goal is to improve the student’s skill set and support improved academic success and behavior.

The Behavior Specialist is an essential member of the CSCT team. Behavior Specialists provide management and support to youth with serious emotional disturbance (SED) in school and community based settings. Behavior Specialists work under the direct supervision of the CSCT therapist to provide behavioral interventions and skill building in individual or group settings.

Qualifications

• BA in Human Services or related field
• Experience working with SED youth and families, treatment team experience preferred
• Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment.
• Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western’s policies.
• Montana Driver’s License with good driving record
