Who You Are: We are looking for a talented and experienced MANAGER who shares our passion for great food and hospitality and possesses the drive to lead a team through service. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations, and will be primarily be responsible for service at our Beach Club at Duryea's Orient Point.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing the operation before, during and after service hours, ensuring that service is carried out according to established policy
Managing beverage orders, inventory, and vendor relationships
Mentoring and training new hires; responsible for tracking punctuality, adherence to grooming and established protocols and job performance
Guest relations: greeting and seating guests, trouble-shooting guest issues and maintaining the mood of the operation
Assisting other managers with reconciling sales and deposits at the end of service, menu changes and updates, conducting staff trainings and meetings and other tasks as necessary
Managing front and back of house POS system
Promoting positive public and employee relations at all times
Requirements:
3+ years of progressive FOH experience in a full service, high-volume restaurant, hotel or beach club
Proficient in all aspects of dining service
Knowledge of food and beverage with a passion to develop this skill
Experience working w/POS systems, F&B ordering, inventory & cost control systems
Must be able to work standing for a minimum period of 8 hours a day
Possess strongly developed and proven leadership and communication skills
Self-motivated, dedicated team player w/positive attitude and high levels of integrity
Flexible Availability, open to work AM & PM schedules
