As a BCaBA you will be responsible for assisting behavior analysts to implement behavior and skill acquisition treatment plans. The candidate will be assisting clients with day-to-day activities, monitor behavior, record and collect data on clients' progress, communicate with caregivers, and assist with coverage at other locations. To be successful in this role, you will display a compassionate nature, empathy, and discretion in your work. You should have excellent communication and time management skills, be able to develop and maintain relationships with clients, supervisors, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Must be strong in natural environment teaching
Must have great pairing skills
Provide direct care to clients in a one-on-one home setting to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by the supervisor
Provide coverage for staff call outs (must be willing to travel)
Collect and record data on patient’s behavior
Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of RBTs
Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and family
Carry out assisting with clinical assessments and other administrative duties
Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly
Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
Tracking and management of all training certifications needed for ABA behavior technicians to ensure continued compliance.
Supporting ongoing training and support to technicians.
Assisting with conducting assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention and evaluating behavioral interventions.
Assisting with designing, implementing, and monitoring skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans.
Training, overseeing, and giving feedback on the implementation of behavior analytic programs done by others.
Modeling, teaching, and implementing effective ABA strategies in multiple settings.
Assisting with training new staff, and existing staff on an ongoing basis.
Conducting staff competency assessments in multiple settings.
Other BCBA roles under direct supervision of your BCBA.
