The Bridge Music Bar is an indoor/outdoor bar, restaurant, music venue and event space located in the heart of East Liberty. Owned and operated by Susan Coe, a US Army veteran with over 20 years experience in the service industry, and managed by GM Kevin Saftner, also with 20+ years of knowledge, best known for his time with James Street Gastropub and time spent community organizing, and finally Kitchen Manager and veteran Jacquelyn Hawse.

We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking and customer service experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary, tips, health benefits and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons

• Interact with customers, take orders, serve snacks and drinks

• Familiarize themselves with our food and drink menu and be able to make recommendations upon assessing our customers’ needs.

• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails

• Plan and present bar menu

• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

• Maintain a healthy, safe and clean work station

• Up to date RAMP certification

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender

• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks

• Local craft beer knowledge a plus

• Basic POS

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

• Self starter
