Pressed Cafe in Salem, NH is looking to add to our Bar Team!
This role is perfect for an experienced and hard working server who wants to go on the bar or for an experienced bartender looking to try something new!
We serve beer, wine, and spirits so that all of our guests can enjoy a cold beer or craft cocktail on our summer patio, dining room, or at our cozy bar. We are a cafe with a bar and are looking for the perfect bartender who does not mind helping out in the cafe as well, if they are not busy at the bar.
Special note:
We will be opening up a very large and BEAUTIFUL bar in Bedford, NH in a few months as well. We are looking to train these bartenders in advance. Training locations for Bedford will be Salem, NH and Boston, MA (fun!).
Compensation:
Bartenders make $14-15/hr as their regular hourly wage PLUS their bar tips!
Bartenders also receive tips from online orders which averages an additional $2-$6 an hour.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Comply with all food and beverage regulation
- Alcohol Certification is required
- Must be reliable and dependable to show up on time or early for all shifts
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender or server
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Must be able to remain calm in hectic and high volume environments
- Must be able to periodically lift up to 45 pounds
- Must be able to work entire shift on your feet standing / walking
