As a Bartender, your creative flair and passion for beverage will lead Bar team to superior beverage experiences to our guests. Though your effective leadership and innovation, you will create drinks and menus that place the establishment on the map of Seacoast NH.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to restaurant manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Work in partnership with the Restaurant General Manager you will execute the smooth and flawless operation of the Bar and Restaurant
• Complete all bartender duties when necessary
• Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation
• Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served in the bar
• Ensure that all details of service are performed by the bartenders to expected standards and that every guest receives the highest quality of service in line with LQA standards
• Train bartenders and service team to ensure beverage knowledge and service levels are to standard
• Drive cocktail menu changes to ensure fresh, innovative and seasonally accurate cocktails are available on the menu
• Assist with beverage procurement, beverage costing
• Contribute to shift briefings as required as well as lead staff training sessions for all beverage products
• Complete product requisiti accurately and maintain bar beverage inventory control
• Ensure all bartender checks are closed and guest billing is accurate
• Ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending of drinks in line with Alberta law
• Monitor bar opening and closing duties and completed daily to standard by bartenders
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Excellent work ethic with a high degree of responsibility
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• 5-6 years bartending in a bar focused establishment.
• Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks
• Strong commitment to service are not limited to:
• Successfully perform craft bartending tasks.
• Arrives to work on time in proper in proper uniform.
• Prepare for opening according to company procedures including inspection for adequate supplies, procuring additional supplies as necessary, and preparing garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks.
• Ensure proper pour procedures and recipes are adhered.
• Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to approved recipes.
• Orders are inputted into the POS immediately.
• Educate staff on product knowledge and beverage procedures.
• Observe and assess member/guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible alcohol service. Report complaints and alcohol related incidents to a manager as soon as they occur.
• Greet every member/guest as they enter.
• Prior to departure, present the check to member/guest with accurate charges.
• Uphold bar cleanliness and organization accordin liquor, beer, wine, tobacco, and sundries to ensure stock is maintained at par levels.
• Maintain daily inventory and records showing which drinks and liquors are in the greatest demand. Assure the efficient and timely submission of all required reports.
• Visually inspect all bar and food service areas to ensure they are clean and presentable to guests. Complies with all Food and Beverage regulations and liquor laws, including but not limited to checking ID before serving liquor to a member/guest that looks under 30 years of age.
• Assist staff with other duties as business dictates.
• Assist in all Food and Beverage outlets as business requires.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

At least 3 years of experience in a similar position. Able to work a flexible schedule, primarily evenings and weekends (including holidays).

Pay: $7.25 - $26.59 per hour
