Serving the Dane County area, the 5th Quarter Sports Bar and Grill is one of Verona's best restaurants and sports bars. We are known for being a great place for food, sports, and drinks.
Do you love meeting people and take providing service personally? You might be perfect for our Bartender position! In this role, you would be interacting with our evening guests and ensuring that their needs are met while in our restaurant. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, the ability to multitask, and a love for going the extra mile for guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality service to customers
- Adhere to all local and national liquor laws
- Mix and serve drinks following set standard recipes
- Greet guests in a timely manner and take orders
- Process cash and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
- Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
- Assist with inventory and inventory control
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently.
- Clean up station
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of bartending experience.
- Must be 21 years of age
- Learn to Serve certification preferred (will pay for certification if needed)
- Strong knowledge of spirits and mixed cocktails
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be organized and self-motivated.
- Ability to work as a team member.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least eight hours.
- Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
- Continuously reach, bend, lift, and carry.
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required
Work/Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
