Halterman’s Toyota is looking for experienced, Master/A Level Automotive Technicians to join our team! The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards while ensuring customer satisfaction. Must be Toyota manufacturer certified or have extensive experience working on Toyota vehicles.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic - Responsibilities:

• Assist other technicians with their work when needed, team players wanted

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.

• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.

• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic - Qualifications:

• Previous Automotive Technician experience required

• Must be a Master or A Level Technician in order to apply

• ASE certifications preferred

• Toyota manufacturer certification or experience required

• Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment

• Ability to collaborate effectively

• Valid driver's license
