Kett Engineering is seeking an automotive technician to support test fleet activities of our customer, an automobile manufacturer at their research and development facility in Gardena, CA. Updating of hardware and software. Reviewing and maintaining documentation driver reports, work orders, data recorders, etc. Reporting and feedback including weekly downloads, software updates to responsible groups / persons. Perform all scheduled maintenances and repairs on vehicles as required. Scrapping of cars. Perform required measurements as directed.
Education
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Dealership product training
Desired:
- Previous experience working as a Technician in an Engineering Test and Development Environment
- ASE Certification x2
Specialized Skills:
Required:
- Basic ability with Microsoft Office application
- Highly organized and dependable
- Valid driver’s license with good DMV record
- Ability to work well independently and with minimal supervision.
- Solid knowledge of the English language
- Analytical and conceptual thinking using logic and reason, creative and strategic.
- Communication skills interpersonal, presentation and written.
