Volkswagen of Duluth is looking to hire full-time Automotive Technicians to join our expanding team. The positions available range from entry level up to master level. Wages will vary based on experience and can be negotiated during the interview process.

Job Expectations Include:

• Class A (4+ years of experience): Perform major and minor repairs on automobile motors, differentials, ignition and lighting systems, charging systems and other automobile parts and equipment without supervision
• Class B (2+ years of experience): Perform major and minor repairs and adjustments under foreman supervision
• Class C (1+ years of experience): Primarily perform light repairs with some major repairs performed under Class A or foreman supervision
• Internal Tech: Perform any internal repair including new and used car safety inspections, maintenance, and light repairs.
• Tire/Lube Tech (entry level): Perform basic maintenance on vehicles (oil and filter changes, etc.) and perform tire work (rotations, balancing, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass an MVR check
• The ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Proven knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
• Good knowledge of automobiles with the ability to identify problems quickly
• Effective analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues
• Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• The ability to learn new technology, including repair and service procedures

Pre-employment background checks and drug tests are completed for this position. Compensation commensurate with experience/training, up to $35/hr to start.
