Victor Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is looking for a motivated and reliable Service Advisor to join our growing team!

As a Service Advisor, you will own our customer’s experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for service customers, providing outstanding customer service, leaving a positive impression with the customer
• Actively listen to engage and understand the customer's vehicle concerns and answer technical questions regarding repairs, warranties, and services
• Create repair order and communicate vehicle needs clearly to technician; evenly distribute work between technicians
• Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customer. Advise and sell needed work
• Follow up on vehicles throughout the repair process, keeping customer updated.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times
• Return calls of customers who are interested in setting up new appointments
• Complete all position required testing on a timely basis
• Maintain a clean and neat appearance

Automotive Service Advisor Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of dealer-level or large facility servcie advisor experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM automotive products preferred but not required
• Urestricted NYS driver's license and clean driving record
• Excellent time management, communication and customer service skills
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Basic computer and internet skills
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
• Spends 80% of work-day standing/walking
