Walser Reconditioning Facility is our centralized inspection, repair, and reconditioning location for our entire pre-owned inventory that supports Walser dealerships across the greater Twin Cities area. This is the largest centralized reconditioning facility in the U.S. with over 80,000 square feet and 17 acres to work on the 2,000 cars that are processed every month.

This role is Monday through Friday, no weekends! Hiring for Day and Evening Shift. It is focused on our used inventory so there are no retail customers, and you will get to work on every different type of make and model vehicle, lots of variety.

You'll Make an Impact by:

• Examine vehicles for wear and tear damage
• Test drive vehicles to assure all functions of the drive line are operating properly
• Inspect and assesses the condition of all the vehicles essential mechanical systems and components
• Inspect accessories and electric circuits
• Examine tires; inspect tread depth, adjust tire pressure, check for objects, bulges or punctures
• Prepares report on the functionally of the vehicle for follow-up
• Work alongside the parts department to communicate and coordinate the ordering and delivery of parts needed to repair the vehicle
• Park vehicles in order and assist in maintaining an organized lot
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and protect company assets
• Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in Recon warehouse service departments
• Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in Recon warehouse service departments

We're Looking For

• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Prior experience performing the above work and/or automotive school or training strongly preferred
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles strongly preferred
