Established dealership looking for a highly motivated F&I Manger

Job Duties:

Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally

Ensure that sales representatives understand and follow dealership policies at all times

The Automotive Finance Manager is responsible to manage the day-to-day activities of a dealerships finance department. This manager will manage the details and documentation once a vehicle is sold and complete the sales process by coordinating the final payment options for the buyer; cash payment or financing. They will guide the customer through all the legal documentation, registration process as well as finalize payment based on the customer's choices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the deal process to allow for profitability; tracking department revenue, charge-backs and adjustments as well as expediting all paperwork to keep contracts in transit at the dealer specified acceptable turnaround time.

  • Drive department income by presenting product information to customers that have purchased vehicles; presenting product solutions from a menu-based presentation system.

  • Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships; supporting a smooth transition to and from the business office process.

  • Advocate on behalf of the customer with lenders to secure finance or leasing approval.

  • Structure deals for finance consideration as well as comply with all state and federal laws as a representative of the dealership.

  • Oversee, train and develop other staff on the finance process

  • Coach, mentor, and work hand in hand with sales team to meet department and dealership established goals for profitability. Maintain dealership reputation in the marketplace and foster strong relationships with lending institutions and product vendors.

  • Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network.

  • Maintain knowledge and any required DMV licensing in relation to vehicle registration paperwork and process.

  • Work with all departments in promoting future business opportunities.
