Responsibilities:
- Produce fabrication cut-list from Solidworks models/AutoCAD drawings.
- Perform job take-offs for material from existing drawings.
- Draw basic programs for Burn Table/Plasma Table fabrication tasks.
- Detail parts out of established drawings.
- Detail drawings in 2D AutoCAD.
- Quality check parts and assemblies after fabrication.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
- Experience with structural detailing and shop drawings (i.e. mezzanines, I-beams, staircases, etc.).
- Proficiency of AutoCAD functions beneficial. Familiarity with SolidWorks beneficial but not required.
- Proficiency of Excel functions beneficial.
- Strong math, critical thinking skills and a basic understanding of geometry.
- Willingness to learn new software, technology, and equipment.
- Ability to maintain work efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Associates degree or equivalent experience/training beneficial.
