We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our collaborative team in our Pittsburgh, PA office. Ideal candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration and a minimum of five years of experience working in an established public accounting firm setting. CPA designation is required.

Job Description :

  • Maintain an excellent working relationship with clients and team members
  • Direct the work of staff, seniors, and supervisors within an audit engagement team
  • Perform substantive procedures and tests of controls
  • Direct field work on financial statement audit and accounting engagements, monitoring progress of engagements in relation to budgets and due dates
  • Supervise and review engagement planning, train and evaluate staff and senior accountants and supervisors.
  • Review work before submission for further review.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to business development activities and building relationships in the community.
  • Commitment to mentoring accounting and tax team members.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience at an established public accounting firm
  • Valid CPA license
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications, QuickBooks, and QuickBooks online
  • Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, strong ethics and business conduct
  • Ability to evaluate situations and modify behavior accordingly
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships through all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrates ability to take initiative and exercise time management skills
  • Possess good analytical and problem solving skills
