Job Title: Sr. Audio Visual Technician
Location: Reston, VA.
Duration: Full Time, Permanent.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proficient in all fiber/copper cable runs and terminations, rack elevation plans, cable management
- As needed, provide technical support, break/fix response, and maintenance solutions for AV/VTC equipment and systems of varying complexity
- As needed, conduct testing and commissioning of AV systems that involve the preparation of punch list documents and follow up
- Maintaining existing certifications and security clearance qualifications
- Ability to assist with programming. Must be able to work with programmers to load and troubleshoot system code on Crestron and Extron hardware.
- Must have a valid passport and the ability to travel in the US (up to 50% of the year) and outside the US (on rare occasions)
- This position reports to various sites in the DC/VA/MD area with some out-of-area travel for up to 2 weeks at a time. Yearly travel of up to 30%.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience pulling and terminating cable
- Familiarity with audio-visual products such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, and Cisco.
- Minimum of a TS. TS/SCI Clearance preferred.
