Friendly customer-service oriented person needed 16 hours per week to assist in the management of a west valley self-storage facility near Indian School and El Mirage. Must be reliable, flexible, have own transportation, and be willing to work occasionally during the week as the schedule dictates and on Saturdays. You will cover the Resident Manager's Day off on Saturday, and cover the office one day per week to allow the manager to perform off-site marketing duties.
This is a customer service position. You must have excellent telephone and communication skills, basic knowledge of computers including e-mail and Microsoft Office skills and a strong attention to details. Primary duties include sales, marketing and office administration duties, greeting existing and prospective customers, handling inquiries over the phone, internet and in-person, renting vacant units, completing lease agreements and related paperwork, and assisting customers with top-notch friendly service. Some exterior maintenance duties are also required consisting of sweeping vacant units and prepping them for rental, picking up common area and aisles, etc.
We offer hands-on training for the on-site rental and management software system (Sitelink). Previous industry experience is helpful but not required. Hourly rate $16-18 hr. depending on experience. Background screening including drug testing is required.
