GENERAL DENTISTRY. Full time position available in the Division of General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. The Division is responsible for the predoctoral (DMD) and postdoctoral (AEGD) instruction in general dentistry, restorative/operative dentistry, treatment planning, risk management, ethics, law and jurisprudence, geriatrics and special care dentistry; the Division also has several collaborative relationships with community partners in support of community based care delivery and the management and care of patients with special healthcare needs.

Position requires DDS/DMD (or equivalent) and a minimum of one year of postdoctoral general dentistry residency training (AEGD/GPR) from a CODA accredited program or a Graduate program in Operative/Restorative and biomaterials. Additional residency training and prior teaching experience at the predoctoral and/or postdoctoral level highly desirable. Ability/experience to teach all phases of general dentistry in preclinical, clinical and didactic settings is required. Experience in digital dentistry and CAD/CAM desirable.

Academic rank and salary commensurate with experience and credentials. Must have or obtain a CT dental license (regular or faculty/provisional).
