Position Summary
As an Associate Technician Factory Quality, you will be responsible for testing samples of our finished products and communicating those test results with the appropriate departments. You will regularly interact with Production, Maintenance, and Product Safety. You will have the opportunity to cross-train and gain experience in multiple areas across QA to strengthen your skillset. - Analyze finished product using various test methods, including wet chemistry
- Perform sensory evaluations of in process and finished product
- Initiates all formula changes for Processing Department
- Sample and test incoming ingredients that include, but are not limited to physical testing, salmonella and EB testing, environmental sampling, and testing rail cars, trucks, bins, sacks, and totes
- Promote Quality and Food Safety culture in the organization
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years equivalent work experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment preferred.
OR
- Associate degree in Food Science or related discipline
